David Lang curates a two-day festival presented by New Music Dublin featuring a who’s who list of renowned composers and performers from around the globe.
The festival includes our signature 8-hour Bang on a Can Marathon highlighting premieres by Julia Wolfe, Michael Gordon, Linda Buckley, Bryce Dessner (of The National), and Pulitzer prize-winning composer John Luther Adams; Julia Wolfe’s Steel Hammer performed by the Bang on a Can All-Stars and Trio Mediaeval; Bang on a Can’s live arrangement of Brian Eno’s Music for Airports and Steve Reich’s Music for 18 Musicians, and much more.
