Summer Festival and LOUD Weekend Sponsorship:

Bang on a Can spends our summers at MASS MoCA.  For over twenty years, we’ve run a three week professional development Summer Festival, bringing together the next generation of composers and performers.  Although we charge tuition in order to make the festival possible, Bang on a Can relies on support from donors like you to provide essential scholarships to talented young musicians in order to cover our costs and still make it possible for all interested young musicians to attend the festival.  The Summer Festival faculty is made up of our three founders, the talented members of the Bang on a Can All-Stars, and special guests.

Donate today to support Summer Festival scholarships and our faculty positions!

$10,000 – Sponsor a faculty position for the summer.  The faculty position will be named in your honor for the year!

$5,000 – Sponsor a fellow to attend the festival.  Cover the cost of room and board for an outstanding young musician.

$2,500 – Sponsor a concert on LOUD Weekend!  Whether it’s a premiere of a new work on the Newest Voices concert or a visiting artist performance, you’re committing to bringing the best of new music to North Adams, MA at MASS MoCA.

$1,000 – Sponsor passes to LOUD Weekend for our outstanding fellows!  By donating to cover the cost of LOUD Weekend pass for them, you are connecting the next generation of music creators to guest composers and performers from all over the world.
