Nathalie Joachim burst onto the music scene a few years back with her heartfelt tribute to her Haitian ancestors, Fanm d’Ayiti.  It is a kind of memoir, in which recordings of her relatives, electronics, instruments, and her own gorgeous voice combine to help her examine her own past, and her own person.  Tonight, with the help of So Percussion, she goes even deeper into herself – Note to Selfsets to music the mantras she repeats to herself, in order to be the best person she can be.
