Bang on a Can co-founder Michael Gordon releases a wealth of orchestral music today on Cantaloupe Music. On CD and digital, Dystopia includes the epic titular work performed by the L.A. Phil, and the legend-deconstructing Rewriting Beethoven’s 7th Symphony performed by the Bamberger Symphoniker. 

A digital companion EP of Gordon’s Gotham is also released exlusively on iTunes today. This three-movement work inspired by the gritty chaos of New York is played by the Aurora Orchestra and invokes post-rock vibes.
