Asphalt Plays Pixies: On Tour

This fall, Bang on a Can’s exhilarating marching band Asphalt Orchestra releases its latest performance, Asphalt Orchestra Plays Pixies: Surfer Rosa, on Cantaloupe Music! Praised by The New York Times as ‘inventive, idiomatic arrangements,” the Asphalt album pays tribute to the groundbreaking original and its influence permeating most walks of musical life. 

In celebration of the release, the band will journey to Oklahoma State (September 12), performing selections from the album alongside classic band tunes.
