Kalbells sprouted as the solo writing & recording project of multiglot Kalmia Traver (Rubblebucket). Over the course of 2 albums and countless performances (including a Tiny Desk concert and tours opening for Chrome Sparks & Lake Street Dive) the act has become an all-star groove collective comprised of Kalmia, Angelica Bess (Body Language) and Sarah Pedinotti (Liptalk). Cheeky lyrics, warm & dreamy bedroom pop moods, deeply funky bass lines and powerfully tight vocal harmonies are the trademarks of the Kalbells sound.
