Co-Founder & Artistic Director of Found Sound Nation, is a composer, French horn player, and educator. He studied horn, ethnomusicology, and Chinese at Northwestern University.
Jeremy is currently the co-director of OneBeat, an international music exchange run by Found Sound Nation and the U.S. Dept of State, which will bring together innovative musicians from around the world to compose, produce and perform original music. As an educator, Jeremy has taught horn in China, gardening in Chicago, and is an active teaching artist through the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall, running songwriting and production workshops in juvenile detention centers in the Bronx and Brooklyn. A partner in Zerobit Music,Jeremy composes and produces music for film, theater, web sites, and video games. As a performer, he recently worked with Jeff Mangum, has recorded and toured with the critically acclaimed indie-rock band The National, and leads his own band, The Briars of North America.
