A Michael Gordon Oratorio: Van Gogh
The electric Bang on a Can All-Stars team up with brilliant theater director David Herskovits for Michael Gordon’s oratorio, exploring the life and restless soul of Dutch master Vincent Van Gogh. The text is made entirely out of Van Gogh’s own words, revealed heartbreakingly in his letters to his much more together brother Theo. Joining the All-Stars will be violinist-singers Charles Yang and Eliza Bagg.
