1-Bit music is the first release by Tristan Perich. It is a CD jewel case cointaining hand-assembled electronics programmed to generate an album of low-fi electronic music. One bit of data is the smallest unit of digital information, representing a binary state: on or off, true or false. Using this minimal waveform for audio, Perich creates music that is conceptually and essentially electronic. Plug in your headphones and switch it on.
