Bang on a Can is a flexible organization. Sometimes multi-genre projects come along that place cutting edge music alongside other media - on stage, on film, on the web.

Bang on a Can has embraced these collaborations and produced fully staged works in such diverse locations as Turin, Bali, Hamburg, and the Next Wave Festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, working with such artists as baroque orchestra Concerto Köln, filmmaker Francois Gerard, and ECM recording artists Trio Mediaeval and more.
