Milind Raikar is a popular Indian violinist, admired for inspiring and attracting the young generation towards Indian Classical Music. He has performed extensively in and out of India. Raikar was a student of the legendary master of violin, Padmashree Pandat D. K. Datar, from whom he learned about the rich culture of Indian Classical music. He received numerous scholarships and won the Gold Medal at the All India Radio music competition, the ‘Sur Mani’ title from the SSS of Mumbai, and the ‘Yuvonmesh Puraskar’ in 2005 from Indradhanu Thane.
